Laser surgery has been around for many years now. It has proven to provide benefits but there are risks such as, permanent glare as well as unstable vision among some of the more common issues. We are not big proponents of laser surgery and prefer to recommend contact lenses which improve from year to year and offer an opportunity to upgrade your vision care as you get older. A good percentage of patients also find that after 3 - 5 years their laser corrected vision is drifiting from what it was and they now again need glasses, though never as much as before.
To us it seems more logical to chose contact lenses as they are safe, comfortable and with one day lenses, incredibly easy to use and care for.
